Reel Life: Vintage Movie Fashion Reimagined

Let's admit it: The 80s-90s era was replete with some of the fashion industries' worst faux pas.

Terrycloth shorts, jelly shoes, plastic charm necklaces, and feather hair extensions-- you name it, and the 80s probably glorified it like a god.

But despite these slip-ups, no one can say that this generation didn't also contribute some of the greatest trends in style history. In fact, those accomplishments will forever be immortalized through their revolutionary (and oftentimes taboo) cult films.

So to pay homage to these gems, fellow blogger Zedwin Sta. Monica and I have collaborated together to produce a 5-part lookbook inspired by vintage movie couture, reimagined as modern-day outfits for you and your friends to sport.

Because after all, if one's style must be classy and classic, what better way to emulate the two than through a cinematic classic?
